Melissa was my hair and makeup artist for my wedding recently. She was absolutely wonderful!

She did a brilliant job for me and my sister creating an elegant but natural look. Everyone at the wedding loved the results and it lasted all day long despite the hot weather and all the dancing.

Melissa was very accommodating when after the first trial I decided to completely change my hairstyle and she managed to find me a slot to do a second trial at short notice.

She is a really friendly and warm person and it was an absolute pleasure working with her.

We both loved our hair and makeup and I felt really beautiful on my wedding day!

Melissa and her amazing team, Scarlett and Steph, did my wedding hair and makeup and they were absolutely brilliant! From the very beginning, Melissa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was warm, friendly, and very professional. We had a wonderful trial where I got to see how the hair and makeup would look on the day and talk through any changes I wanted made for the day.
On the wedding morning, I had seven bridesmaids, myself, and two moms and Melissa coordinated everything flawlessly. The timeline ran perfectly, and everyone was ready with time to spare, which meant we could enjoy the morning without feeling rushed or stressed. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun and a huge part of that was down to the seamless way Melissa and her team worked.
A few weeks before the wedding we had to change our getting-ready location, which meant reworking the schedule. Melissa was so flexible and accommodating with the change! She quickly adjusted everything to ensure the morning still ran to plan.
The hair and makeup were absolutely stunning! I felt so beautiful! Melissa and her team really listened to what each person wanted, and the end results were even better than I had hoped for. Our looks held all day and night long and the photos look absolutely perfect!

Melissa was an absolute gem! She was so helpful during our trial and regularly checked in to make sure that I not only loved the look but to also ask if I wanted any changes. I asked if the full look could be cruelty free and she literally split all her products for the trial so I could see what my options were are and was just incredibly helpful.

On my wedding day she had the patience of a saint working on me and my mum. Making us both look gorgeous and even helping me with final touches like getting my veil pinned in just right, teaching me how to dab away the dreaded sweaty upper lip without ruining my makeup, and being a general calming presence amongst the chaos.

Needless to say the hair and makeup itself was actually flawless. My curls and makeup lasted all day, through sweaty hugs, tears, and bubbles! I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and Melissa was totally understanding and made me feel gorgeous without feeling like I had too much on.

Stunning! Melissa (and Scarlett) did the make up for my big day, and for the 7 members of my Team Bride, and each of us absolutely loved our looks. She was so attentive and listened to exactly what I, and the girls, wanted and delivered exactly that!

Melissa and her team, Lauren and Jess, provided hair and makeup services for my, my mother, my grandmother, and four bridesmaids for my recent Oxford wedding. They were fantastic! Firstly, they were extremely prompt, which was so important to us since we had a morning ceremony and not much time in the morning to get ready. Second, they really listened to what each woman wanted and delivered. Everyone's hair and makeup looked fantastic and lasted the whole day - even with some serious dancing! I've never seen my mother more excited about her hair - she had a beautiful updo with a hat and glamorous, yet still fresh and natural makeup. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Melissa's work - she was able to incorporate my crown/headband and veil in a style that held up all day (and my hair has historically not held curl at all - this lasted two days!). I also loved the makeup - soft but still glam. Third, Melissa's communication was really strong - I had some travel issues which meant that I was unable to make my original trial time, but she was able to reschedule me quickly. Finally, I really appreciate Melissa's calming demeanor - my mom and I were a bit stressed in the morning, but she helped to ground us and just make the morning fun and upbeat. She was reassuring but also just so professional — we felt we were in the best hands.

Melissa styled my hair recently as I was a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding.

I showed Melissa some photos of Hollywood curls and she perfectly listened to the brief! I had so many compliments and the style stayed in all day (I even enjoyed them the following day too!).

In general, Melissa was really experienced from a technical standpoint, really friendly, and wanted to make sure each bridesmaid was really happy. Would definitely recommend!

​​Melissa is the best ! Having had my hair and makeup done as a bridesmaid by Melissa a few years ago, I didn't hesitate to get in touch to see if she would be available for my own wedding.
