I found Melissa through a Google search and from amazing reviews, and I am so glad I did! I never wear any makeup normally, and was worried about looking too different on the wedding day. When I told Melissa this she took great time and care to talk me through the options and process, and asked what the colour scheme was, she recommended a natural look with a touch of pink on the eyes, and my word it was amazing! On the trial I even felt brave enough to add sparkle to my eyes and I loved it! It was exactly what I asked for, a lovely natural look with a hint of colour and sparkle!
For my hair I only knew I wanted half up and half down, and some form of curls. Within what seemed like a few flicks of a curling wand, she had done the most spectacular thing with my hair that I hadn't even thought possible! When she showed me the back of the hair I was literally shocked at how effortlessly beautiful it was! I had asked for something that was relaxed so that I didn't spend all day worrying about it, and as with the makeup she listened and made my idea a reality!
I would not hesitate to recommend Melissa to anyone, for hair and makeup, and I'm just hoping for an excuse to use her again for an occasion as she was so lovely and friendly to be around!
I was in a fluster when she arrived as I was running late and she really calmed me down and encouraged me to relax and got me all ready right on time!
And not to mention she was so amazing with the constant changes with Covid, I changed venue several times and had several emails back and forth with her (which she is always very responsive which was very helpful with the covid changes), and in the end pulled it forward by a whole month with 2 days notice to beat the lockdown and even then she was able to make it!
She fitted in another bride on the same day which I absolutely loved that another bride didn't have to miss out! with Melissa you are getting someone who truly cares about your special day, and she will do everything to make it special and perfect for you!! The hair and makeup stayed in place all day, nothing moved even with tears and being in an open top car on a busy road!

Melissa was recommended to me by my maid of honour, and I was so thrilled to have found somebody so skilled, but also patient and kind enough to really listen to my thoughts and help me keep trying different things until I was happy. Melissa did the hair and makeup for my wedding last week (posted using husbands account). She is lovely, and was so great to work with throughout the entire process, and is very quick to respond to email or text. She arrived in plenty of time on the day and did the most beautiful makeup for me, my maid of honour and my Mum. My makeup was fresh and natural, but still glamorous enough to photograph well, and the hair she did for us was gorgeous. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I was so happy with the results. The makeup and hair also lasted through rain, sun, a three course meal and lots of cocktails, and was still flawless when I came to take it all off/brush it out at 2:30am! I booked Melissa for our February wedding to do hair & makeup for myself, three bridesmaids and my Mum. We had a couple of trials as I kept changing my mind about what look I wanted to go for and Melissa was so helpful in tweaking elements of the hair and makeup until we found something that worked. In the lead up to the day Melissa was great at checking in and also answering my questions! 
On the day, wow, I was just super happy with everything that Melissa did. We had my Mum go first, she put her at ease straight away which instantly relaxed me. My mum loves makeup but doesn’t wear a lot of it and her finished look was totally perfect for her. My bridesmaids all have completely unique styles but Melissa found a look that worked to link them all together without being exactly the same, they were all happy and looked gorgeous. 
My makeup looked flawless in the photos and lasted all day without feeling heavy. I’m a big cryer and am still wondering how it managed to survive my many happy tears! Hair was great too, I went for simple loose waves to compliment my dress which had a lot of detail at the top.
